Creating art that whispers:
“You survived. You’re safe. Come find your joy again.”
Hi, I’m Dink,
An artist, a mum, and someone who’s been through the wringer and still came out painting stars.I create art because that’s how I survive, how I connect and process, and how I help others to do the same. My work is deeply rooted in mindfulness, resilience, and rediscovering the everyday magic we tend to overlook — like the shimmer of light on the back of a beetle or a moment of quiet in your chaos.Living with chronic conditions like M.E., Fibromylgia, and AuDHD means I’ve had to learn to move slowly, notice deeply, and make meaning from moments others might miss. That’s what I pour into my art. Tiny details. Quiet strength. Gentle power. My pieces are more than pretty things to hang on the wall. They’re reminders that beauty exists, even in the hardest times. They’re love letters to anyone who’s ever felt lost and needed a spark. When you buy my art, you’re not just supporting an independent artist, you’re sharing in that message. You’re helping spread it.If you’ve ever stopped for a second and thought, I just need to breathe, or I wish I could escape for a moment — my art is for you.“It’s okay. It’s safe now. You can come out.”
Magic is in the details
I work primarily in miniature, with most pieces measuring around 1x1 or 2x2 inches. I love the intimacy and quiet focus that small-scale work demands — where every tiny mark matters. My favourite medium is black ink, using a method I call micro mono pointillism — layering thousands of faint, patient dots to build soft, hidden worlds.I also work in watercolour and gouache when the piece calls for different textures or moods, always choosing materials that support the delicacy of the story I’m trying to tell.My surfaces are Bristol paper or smooth watercolour paper — sturdy enough to carry the tiny marks, soft enough to hold the breath of the work.Every piece is a slow, breathing reminder that even the smallest, quietest efforts — made with care, made with hope — can create something extraordinary. My tools are simple: almost dried-out pens, paper, and a stubborn love for slow, careful magic. It’s a quiet craft, born from necessity and resilience — a way to create beauty where it would have been easy to give up.Every piece is a slow, breathing reminder that even the smallest marks, made with care, can build something extraordinary.
A Home for Gentle Magic
My art is about quiet magic, small joys, and the stubborn beauty of staying soft in a hard world.I create for the dreamers, the ones who survived what should have broken them, and the ones still learning that it’s safe to come out of hiding.Every piece is built slowly, dot by dot, using a method I call micro mono pointillism — a gentle, patient way of drawing that mirrors the resilience it celebrates.I work with almost dried-out pens, traditional mediums, and a fierce belief that even the smallest, faintest marks — made patiently, made with love — can build something extraordinary. My work is for the lonely kid who didn’t fit in.
It’s for the exhausted adult who forgot how to dream.
It’s for anyone who still carries a tiny spark, even if it flickers low sometimes. These pieces aren’t about perfection.
They’re about hope.
About wonder.
About remembering that you are already enough — messy, magical, human.I hope something here reminds you of your own magic. You survived.
You’re safe now.
You’re allowed to feel joy again.

A peek at some of my work
Every piece you’ll find here was created slowly — dot by dot, breath by breath — with stubborn hope and quiet magic stitched into every mark. These aren’t just pictures.
They’re tiny worlds, stitched together in the soft spaces between survival, wonder, and belonging.Take your time.
Wander a little.
You’re welcome here.
Other tiny worlds
Alongside my ink and painting work, I occasionally create miniature papercuts — intricate pieces hand-cut from a single sheet of paper.Just like my drawings, these are built slowly and patiently, one careful movement at a time. They’re another way I explore the idea that small, deliberate acts can create spaces of wonder, stillness, and joy. Each papercut is a quiet celebration of fragility, resilience, and the magic found in tiny details.I used to sell my papercut designs, but these days I just make them for joy. If you’d like to try one yourself, I’m happy to share a free printable template — just drop me a message and I’ll email it over. No shop, no pressure, just a quiet gift if you feel like making something lovely.
